Aged West Coast Wine Tasting

Please join Nick Davis of Medium Plus and Christopher Gronbeck of The Barrel Thief for a special tasting of aged American West Coast wines. We have a selection of 20- to 30-year-old wines from esteemed Left Coast producers, plus some oddities that may or may not be good, but which will be interesting! This is a preliminary list:

* 1985 Carneros Quality Alliance Pinot Noir

* 1996 Ravenswood Icon Syrah

* 1995 Leonetti Merlot

* 1991 Duckhorn Cab Sauv

* 1998 Delille Harrison Hill

* 1987 Blackwood Canyon Merlot

* 1984 Calona Okanagan Valley Chelois

The tasting is being held in The Barrel Thief's Velvet Room (a separate whiskey meet-up is in our dining room). We're kicking the event off with 8 to 10 bottles, and you're welcome to bring your own, if you have a 20-plus-year-old bottle of West Coast wine that's high enough quality to have hopefully stood the test of time. We'll provide very light snacks to accompany the wine (not intending to comprise dinner, but to enhance the wine experience).

This tasting is limited to 15 guests, and costs $40. If you commit to bringing a bottle which fits in with our theme to contribute, you may purchase a ticket at a discounted rate of $20.

We expect this event to fill up pretty quickly, and space is very limited (and the attendance cap is firm), so please be sure to buy a ticket if you're interested!
