Meets on five non-sequential Saturdays from 12:30 pm 1:15 pm. Sessions on December 3; December 10; January 14; January 28; February 11.
All levels welcome. December will focus on Hannukah, and January/February will be about blessings. Classes will be independent of one another, so come to one or come to all.
$18 for Congregation Bnai Israel members, $25 for non-members. Nobody will be turned away from this class for inability to pay. Because this class meets on Shabbat, please make payment arrangements prior to the first class.
Rabbi Evelyn Baz earned her ordination and M.A. from the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies and held a Wexner fellowship. An online review of Rabbi Baz noted: Evelyn is a remarkable and insightful teacher who adeptly translates ancient Jewish wisdom into an accessible, relevant, and contemporary idiom. The Torah that she shares is profound and personal. I'm exceedingly grateful for the time that I have spent experiencing Evelyn's teaching.
