Fridays from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. First Class:February 10. 10 sessions. Ulpan is a Hebrew word meaning "studio", "teaching", or "instruction". The ulpan is designed to teach adult immigrants to Israel the basic language skills of conversation, writing and comprehension. Students will learn the Hebrew alphabet (reading & writing), conversational Hebrew, and connect what they learn to the Hebrew from the Siddur.
$100 for Congregation Bnai Israel members, $125 for non-members. All materials will be provided.
Mika Ribak Shevchenko is a native Hebrew speaker who has studied Hebrew as a Second Language Instruction at The Hebrew University.
