Season 6 kickoff Conversation
The most unique insights on any subject often come from outsiders, who approach the material with objective curiosity.
Mr. Fleishman spent time with us in our studio this summer researching his Los Angeles Times article "How New Dance Gets Made," and we found his questions so intriguing that we couldn't think of a better host for our first Conversation of 2016/17 as we start work on a new season of dance.
Jeffrey is a Times senior writer on film, art, and culture, a Pulitzer Prize finalist for feature writing, and the author of two novels. A smart, engaging writer with a keen ability to bring people and places alive for his readers, he covers the arts, artists, and institutions driving culture in our city and worldwide. He was also a finalist for the Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting, so the conversation could go anywhere. We can't wait.
The one-hour conversation will be followed by a reception with the hosts, drinks, and live jazz.
CONVERSATIONS IS A SERIES EXCLUSIVELY FOR BALLET SOCIETY MEMBERS.
There will be a current membership list at the door, please be sure to join or renew before this exciting event. http://www.acbdances.com/membership
