Musical Christmas in Laguna Beach
Join Sonatasia and pianist Lica Handa as we celebrate Christmas at a beautiful private home Laguna Beach. Enjoy your favorite Christmas music and songs, meet people and make new friends. The event takes place at a newly renovated multi-million dollar Laguna Beach home, high in the hills with stunning view of canyons, ocean, and city lights. Light refreshments will be served.

Dancer/aerialist Katrina Rose Callihan will be performing along with vocalist Trisha Dunn and artist/singer Kelsie Nicole.

Sonatasia is a musical experience in a private home which unfolds all around. There is no stage. The stage is everywhere! Sonatasia performs several times a year at private homes in Laguna Beach and around the southland, and has been doing so since 2009. Each performance is unique and incorporates music, theater, dance, and comedy into an intimate and thrilling event.

About pianist Lica Handa:
Lica Handa started playing the piano at the age of 4 with Suzuki-method. Graduate of Toho Gakuen College of Music in Tokyo. Completed Meister Diploma at Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, and Soloist Diploma at Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende in Stuttgart. After her debut recital at Tokyos Casals Hall in 1999, she has engaged in numerous musical activities ranging from being a regular artist for Yamahas family concert series to having a solo recital at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Hall. In the US, she has performed her all Chopin program at Sherman Clay Hall in Walnut Creek, and most recently, had multiple appearances at the Saddleback College Emeritus Institute Symphonys Monthly Chamber Music Series. In addition, she has been actively performing with many local musicians at her monthly home recitals in Coto de Caza. She would be very pleased to have you attend!
