Join us on December 10 and 11 as we celebrate the Sights, Sounds and Songs of the Season, including classics like Mendelssohns There Shall a Star Come Out of Jacob, and John Leavitts stunning arrangement of O Holy Night. The gently nostalgic Sweeter Still, A Holiday Carol by contemporary composer Eric William Barnum, paints an evocative picture of Christmas as a time to celebrate the joys of the season with family.
Youll also hear the premiere performances of several new compositions, including Michael Austin Millers Baruch Adonai, the Blessings of Chanukah, a setting of traditional Hebrew blessings for lighting the menorah, which will feature the combined choruses of the Chorale and the Olympic Girls Choir. And, as always during our holiday concert, youll be invited to share in the fun by joining Chorale in singing favorite carols.
If youd like to bring younger children to our holiday presentation, consider the Family Holiday Concert, a shorter version of the full concert, lasting one hour and suitable for the whole family.
