Kd Amond is originally from the small town of Livingston, Louisiana. Kd is first and foremost a storyteller. Her background is in film and television, which is what first brought her to Nashville when she produced a docu-series on songwriters. Kd currently spends her time songwriting under her first publishing deal and studying audio engineering in Nashville where she now resides. Kd was raised on Dolly Parton, Emmy Lou Harris, and John Prine, (and of course Fleetwood Mac). Shes an active member of Nashvilles independent film community and is currently pitching a feature film she wrote titled What Would Dolly Do? Jeff Bates is also cutting a comedic country song he co-wrote with Kd called Things You Dont Talk About At the Table, coming at you this holiday season!
Jacqueline and Kd met through a mutual friend when Kd needed a vocalist and co-writer for her film project. The two of them spent 48 hours in a hot and humid 1970's Avion Airstream trailer in a Nashville songwriter's backyard with several pots of coffee, one bottle of Jack , guitars, and notebooks...They knocked out the first three songs for the film project, and they've been collaborating ever since.
