Standing Rock Benefit w/ Mission Delirium, The Wyatt Act and Banda Sin Nombre
Join us on Friday, December 9th for a concert benefitting the movement at Standing Rock in North Dakota.
Where: Omni Oakland Commons, 4799 Shattuck Ave, Oakland, CA. When: Friday, December 9th at 8pm. Price: $15-$30 sliding scale. Our goal is to raise $10,000. Help us meet the goal however you can!
FEATURING:
Banda Sin Nombre a five-piece street band from San Francisco's Mission District
The Wyatt Act San Franciscos own high-energy, experimental SlamRock band.
Mission Delirium Revel in the drums and facemelting brass!
Proceeds from this event will also go to a legal team to fight against the desecration of Ohlone sites around the bay
Getting There:
Parking can be very difficult near the Omni, but it is an easy jaunt from MacArthur BART station.
ACCESSIBILITY:
The Entrance Hall, Sudo Room and Counter Culture Labs are all wheelchair-accessible on the ground floor. The ballroom is accessible via a wheelchair lift in the entry hall . The doorway to the Ticket Booth Room (this room is where one sells tickets not where public buys tickets) has been widened to enable wheelchair access. Unfortunately, we do not currently have an ADA-accessible bathroom. The bathroom connected to the Entrance Hall is currently being renovated to become a single-occupancy ADA bathroom, but we have some work to do until it's complete. Note that this bathroom connected to the Entry Hall is easily usable by persons in wheelchairs. The bathroom in the hallway leading to Sudo Room and Counter Culture Labs is single-occupancy and can be utilized by those with some limited mobility. Long-term plans include an elevator lift to the basement and upstairs areas
