Bluegrass Concert with The Edgar Loudermilk Band featuring Jeff Autry
Start off your New Year with a bluegrass bang that you wont soon forget! The Edgar Loudermilk Band featuring Jeff Autry is coming to the Cattle Track Theatre in Scottsdale on Thursday, January 5th and theyre gonna light up the stage!
Edgar cut his teeth on bluegrass and started performing on bass when he was just 9. Since then, hes been the bass player for such bluegrass greats as Rhonda Vincent and IIIrd Tyme Out as well as gaining his singing chops with Marty Rabon and Full Circle. Most recently he toured with Dave Adkins as Adkins & Loudermilk. With the success of his first solo album, My Big Chance Tomorrow followed by his second album Georgia Maple, the Edgar Loudermilk Band with Jeff Autry is exploding on the bluegrass scene.
And speaking of Jeff Autry, this featured performer is highly regarded as one of the most talented guitarists of our time performing and recording with many of the bluegrass legends he grew up admiring, including Sam Bush, Vasser Clements, Ricky Skaggs, Peter Rowan and the John Cowan Band. His recording credits include the award winning instrumental series Bluegrass 96 through Bluegrass 2001, his own solo album Foothills, as well as the albums of many bluegrass and country greats.
Bringing along the talents of Glen Crain and Zack Autry from his former band, Edgar Loudermilk has created a perfect combination of new and old. The new songs that have emerged from this arrangement of good friends are already charting and their touring schedule is so tight that we were danged lucky to squeak in a date!
What better way to start off 2017 than with a great bluegrass concert at the Cattle Track!
