The Sports Salon with Art Thiel
The Sports Salon welcomes Jennifer Cohen, first-year athletics director at the University of Washington. Since taking over for Scott Woodward on February 1, 2016, Cohen has seen the Huskies football team rise to national prominence.
Cohen will discuss the Huskies road to the College Football Playoffs, coach Chris Pedersen's makeover of the football program, the rise of the men's and women's basketball programs, and the big-picture issues facing UW, the Pac-12 Conference and college athletics nationally.
A Tacoma native, life-long Huskies fan, dynamic fundraiser, and an engaging speaker, Cohen held positions for 16 years in UW administration and athletics before her widely-hailed promotion.
