Margot Limburg and Timothy Hull
Dutch singer-songwriter and folk musician Margot Limburg hails from Passlo, a small township in northeast Netherlands.  Currently based in Amsterdam, Margot has been singing and touring extensively around Europe, Australia and the US for the past 15 years. Margots hauntingly rich alto voice and unique approach to both songwriting and traditional folk music arrangements are what make her a truly compelling and inspiring performer.

Her love of writing and of words is evident in her own original songs and in the songs she selects from the vast traditional repetoir.  The story is what compels her both as a writer and interpreter of other peoples songs.  But her innate musicality and unique approach to singing and guitar playing cannot be denied.  Years of touring as an accompanist on guitar for traditional harpist Ed ten Hoedt along with her interest in a wide variety of styles from country to blue grass, pop and rock, serve as a rich foundation upon which she has created her rare and compelling style of music.

Timothy Hull is a widely appreciated singer-songwriter from Whidbey Island, Washington. He has toured over the past fifteen years bringing his songs, guitar, stories and humor to colleges, clubs, pubs coffee houses, and conferences, coast to coast. He has traveled with his music, but his music has traveled even further. Bands and singers from all over the world are known to cover his originals.

Born of an Irish mother and American father, Timothy grew up with time split between the old country and the new. Although most songs he brings to the stage are originals, the influence of the old world, full of traditional music is clear. Hulls songs are dreamy and vivid, glorious and sad. He effortlessly blends the personal with the political, the local the global and the ancient with the up-to-the-minute. Timothy Hull's songs are about life lived on a human scale, as captured in his vivid snapshots of playing and living on the streets or in a makeshift camp by a river, of wandering and rambling the roads and the rails, of making do in difficult circumstances. And in the immediacy and simple dailiness of these images Timothy delivers the goods.
