BGHS Winter Play: Elephant & Piggie's "We Are In A Play!"

Elephant & Piggie's "We Are In A Play!"
Rated G & Perfect For Ages 4 to 100!
Get ready for a hilarious songfest ripped from the pages of Mo Willems beloved, award-winning children's books! Elephant Gerald and Piggie are the best of friends. Worrisome and careful Gerald wonders if something could go wrong that would end their friendship. But playful and spirited Piggie is not worried at all, especially when she receives an invitation to a party. Pachyderm and swine join forces to face questions like:
What do you wear to a fancy pool costume party?
Should you share your ice cream?
How can two friends play with one toy?
Backed by the Buffalo Grove High School Orchestra and nutty back-up singers The Squirrelles, our duo even gets the audience involved in the action. And so begins a day when anything is possible in an imaginative musical that playfully explores the importance and true meaning of friendship. Elephant and Piggie sing and dance their way through plenty of peril and suspense in a rollicking adventure perfect for all audiences. You'll be doing the "Flippy Floppy Floory" dance all night long!
Nighttime, Morning, & Afternoon Too?
Performances run December 2, 3 and 4. Friday night starts at 7pm, Saturday morning starts at 10:30am, and Sunday afternoon starts at 2:30pm!
Say Cheeeese! Whats an Instrument Petting Zoo?
After each performance young audience members will have the opportunity to take pictures with the stars, make an Elephant & Piggie themed craft, and try out the string and percussion musical instruments used in the show in the Instrument Petting Zoo!

Tickets cost $5 at the door and may be purchased with cash or check. Online tickets include a service charge and may be purchased at bghs.d214.org/tickets. All seating is general admission.
The box office opens 30 minutes before curtain time. Cash and checks are accepted at the door.
