Carnival Autumn
"Carnival Autumn" depicts the fevered daydream of a young man as he recalls old memories and places of nostalgia. The short film explores the sacred spaces of his past and images and sounds that linger in his imagination. A surreal narrative without dialog, the film was shot on location in Pennsylvania and upstate New York.

David DiLillo is a filmmaker and photographer born and based in Staten Island, New York City. He studied mathematics, photography, and film at Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York.
Over the years, David has co-founded the CUNY humor magazine 'Operation Three-Legged Dolphin', worked as a staff writer and music journalist for Consequence of Sound, and analyzed data and images for autism research and medical science. He has been teaching photographic art to children and teens in Staten Island since 2010.
In 2012, David had the amazing opportunity to present a lecture to public school students in Madrid at IES Clara Campoamor de Móstoles on the connection between geometry and art. His other recent travels have brought him to England, Japan, Italy, and across the American Midwest, and his photographs and short films have been featured in online publications, local solo shows, and group exhibitions at Times Square and the Museum of Modern Art.

Log-line: If you live a cautious live based on statics and mathematically fact, what will do you do when you find that you have miscalculated your entire life?
Synopsis: Will Peterson is a successful Math Professor who graduated from a prestigious Ivy League school. Every decision he makes is made due to mathematically calculation. Although successful he lives a lonely life, lack, of any companions other than formulas and theories to entertain him. When he discovers that his life is shorter than he expected he realizes the errors of his ways, but how can you make up for a life time of errors?

Steven Shotola is a recent graduate for Film production from Jacksonville University where he recieved his bachelors and held a Fine Arts Scholarship. In 2012 Steven Shotola attended the Cannes film festival for his student short film "Duality" which he Directed and co-wrote with his DP David Howard. Steven, met with Ramfis Mythril & Adam Lawerence, the founders of Beast of the East Productions along with many other New York based filmmakers, thus building his network in the big apple. Shortly after Cannes, Steven received a job with the Jacksonville Jaguars in which he worked as a video editor during the 2012 season, while attending his final year of college. With a degree in hand Steven decided to pursue his career in Filmmaking in the city of New York where he currently interns at Beast of the East productions in NYC. In New York Steven he has been the Assistant director of a Music video for a major U.K. rock band and has worked various other production positions on multiple projects in the city. He wishes to one day write and direct his own feature films and collaborate with both Studio & Indie filmmakers on major productions in the future. He currently resides in Astoria, Queens.
