Rock My Soul Rockin' Soulful Holiday Concert, 12/18/2016
Join the Rock My Soul choir and band (complete with horns!) for a spirit-soaring evening of "gospelized" Christmas carols and R&B- and doo-wop flavored arrangements of popular holiday favorites. Numbers range from high-energy, emotionally charged
arrangements of familiar songs such as "White Christmas," "Joy to the World," and "O Holy Night" to the less familiar but no less inspiring "'Behold That Star" and a rendition of "Merry Christmas, Baby" inspired by Otis Redding. In contrast, introspective carols such as a Temptations arrangement of "Silent Night" will also be performed. A magical and uplifting night for all!
Show starts at 5 pm. Doors to fellowship hall (where refreshments are sold) open at 4 pm. Doors to concert open at 4:30 pm.
