Tri Lengua and No Dear
Tri Lengua and No Dear Join Forces to present to you work by Laura-Marie Marcielo, Wo Chan, and Mirene Arsanios.
Tri Lengua is an ad-hoc literary event that promotes readings of poetry and prose in any language or dialect, work in translation and translation between media (film-poems, visual art into poetry, etc.) Tri Lengua began in Barcelona in 2009, initially focusing on three languages Spanish, Catalan and English. It has since branched out to include all languages and literature in translation, with regular readings in Barcelona, New York and (coming soon) Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
No, Dear is a Brooklyn-based press that aims to bring together the voices of New York City poets who might not otherwise be in dialogue: both emerging and established poets from diverse backgrounds who are living and writing in New York Citys five boroughs.
