"Animal House of Blues 33 1/3," 7:00 PM screening at the Cottage Grove Armory.
Oregon's Cottage Grove Armory served as a sound stage during the making of "Animal House." It is only fitting that the documentary "Animal House of Blues 33 1/3" should be screened in the Armory. "The Blues Brothers" came into being as a result of the jam sessions held in the evenings after the day's shooting on "Animal House" had come to an end. This is a captivating story with great music. 90 minutes.
Filmmaker Katherine Wilson will be present for the screening. She will be joined by others that worked on "Animal House" and witnessed the birth of "The Blues Brothers."
A reconstruction of the Delta House porch, using actual pieces of wood from the original Animal House, will be on display in the Armory. A terrific photo-op.
