The Holiday Show - Cris Williamson-Teresa Trull-Barbara Higbie
Three great talents join forces for the Second Annual Holiday Show and Food Drive for the Samaritan House. Cris Williamson has long been recognized as one of the pioneers of the genre known as Women's Music. Her album, The Changer and the Changed, which was released in 1974, has sold over a half a million copies and is ranked as one of the all time best-selling independent albums. Barbara Higbie has been on the music landscape for over 25 years. She co-founded the group, Montreux, which defined New Age Music. Barbara has played on over 45 albums, recording with the Kronos Quartet, Terry Riley, Ferron, David Grisman and many others. Teresa Trull has been described as "a fiery vocal dynamo who combines a larger-than-life gospel-soul voice with a gutsy blues style." A well-esteemed producer of over 30 albums, Trull was nominated for The New York Music Awards' Best Producer of an Independent Album. Join them ..as they celebrate the Holidays - all the Holidays - and celebrate the comfort of Community. Please bring a donation of canned and non-perishable dry goods. Those served by the good folks of the Samaritan House need your support.
