The Night Before Christmas- Shakopee
The beloved Christmas poem The Night Before Christmas comes to life on the Historic Chief Theatre stage when the award-winning dance company Borealis Dance comes to town to present an original performance based on the classic poem. Regarded as the most famous poem about the Christmas season, author Clement Clarke Moore wrote this poem for his children in 1822. Now, nearly 200 years later, Danielle Ricci and her dance company have created a sumptuous feast of visual storytelling that will delight children and adults alike. The production is filled with laughter, beautiful sets and costumes, and wonderful holiday music. Audiences will be thrilled with dancing Sugarplums along with Santa and his tiny reindeer brought to life through the magic of dance. Bring your entire family to enjoy this unforgettable production!
