Portland Revels Presents - Suzannah Park: Home, Love & Loss: Ballads from the Appalachian Mountains and the British Isles

On November 30, 2012 Christmas Revels show headliner Suzannah Park is presenting on "Home, Love & Loss: Ballads from Appalachia and the British Isles." The University Club of Portland will be the venue for this event that is sure to enthrall, engage and entertain in signature Portland Revels style! Renowned teacher, singer and artist Suzannah Park visits us from Asheville, North Carolina and will be the headline star in the 2012 Christmas Revels show in December as we celebrate the seasonal celebrations of Appalachia in a fully-costumed mainstage show at the Scottish Rite Theater.
Suzannah is known in America and Europe as a teacher and performer of traditional music. The musical styles from which she draws her material are deliciously varied and include music from America, the British Isles, Balkans, Caucus Republic of Georgia, Corsica and South Africa. Although young, Suzannah has taught and performed for tens of thousand of people both at home in the U.S. and abroad.
The University Club of Portland offers an opportunity to hear Suzannah Park in a luxurious, intimate venue at their central location in downtown Portland.
