LAI September Luncheon
The 5M Project is a creative development at 5th and Mission St, designed to support an increasingly interconnected economy and urban culture. Forest City is transforming a 4-acre development project into an urban ecosystem for social and economic innovation, powered by a culture of shared resources and ideas across traditional boundaries. The Project pushes the current process of real estate development and the organizational principles behind existing downtown districts to create a prototype for "central social districts".
Alexa Arena leads Forest City's Northern California Team as the head of the SF office. Alexa is also leading the Pier 70 project, a 25 acre waterfront revitalization at the edge of the Dogpatch neighborhood that is a public-private partnership with the Port of San Francisco.
