Songwriter/solo~acoustic act Derek R. Astles is influenced by twangy country, folk, pop and rock...Live he performs a mix of all-original folknrolln music and classics of Country and Rock. Astles has quite a history as a cafe-circuit touring perfomer. His songs fall into a somewhat classic folk-oriented vein, but there's quite a sense of insightful, pop-music savvy craft to his tunes.
Erin and Dave are two new singer songwriters to the scene that come t the Lizard tonight through the Open Mic Challenge.
