WAVE Christmas concert: In Sweet Jubilation
In Sweet Jubilation
The Womens Antique Vocal Ensemble (WAVE) will present our annual Christmas concert featuring early music of Spain, France, England, and Germany. The performance will include compositions from Llibre vermell de Montserrat, Cantigas de Santa Maria, Montpellier Codex, Arundel and Selden manuscripts and the Trinity Roll. Composers include Guerrero, Costeley, Arbeau, Praetorius, Bach, and Handel. The concert will also include a sing-along of some traditional Christmas carols. Please join us for an evening of ancient and traditional holiday music!
