Bravura Brings the Bard To Belize

Join Bravura Theatre on our next adventure, as Associate Artistic Director Dora Carroll embarks on a intercontinental project bringing her brand of Shakespearean fun to Caye Caulker BELIZE!

Dora will be volunteering over 5 weeks on the island in the New Year, working with students of Oceans Academy, a high school run entirely by donation on the island. She will be workshopping their first encounter with the Bard, and working together to create a theatrical piece in both English and the native Belizean Kriol language of the Island.

In case you missed it - our latest SHAKESPEARE IN THE PUB, as part of Bravura's series - "The Merry Wines of Winter" kicked off this project as a fundraiser.

Your donations right here on Brown Paper tickets will help make this project possible, and form the beginning of an Arts Scholarship fund that will provide the opportunities for students from the program to continue with education and work in the Arts.
