The Tangled Up In Blues Concert Series, WNCD 93.3 and St. Simon Productions bring you a Super Bowl of Blues. Got the Winter blues? Well come and get the real blues at the YOUNGSTOWN WINTER BLUES FEST. LIL' ED & THE BLUES IMPERIALS headline, fresh off an award winning year. Three other top notch acts are on the bill. WILLIE PHOENIX reminds you of Jimi Hendrix and tore things up opening for B.B. King. Veteran bluesmen THE FX PROJECT rock, especially with their new addition of a sax player. Rising star DAMIAN KNAPP is fresh from Chicago and Memphis with his slide guitar and gritty Delta blues. Doors open at 5:00 PM. Damian Knapp kicks off the show at 6:00 PM. The FX Project is next at 7:00, followed by Willie Phoenix at 8:00. Lil' Ed & the Blue Imperials take over the rest of the night at about 9:30 with more than two hours of their music. The club is located in Austintown, on the city's west side between Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road, just off I-80, I-680 and Rt. 11. O'Malley's is recently renovated to allow much more small table seating near the stage. Intimate, with excellent sight lines. Known for excellent food. Full bar, full menu and service.
