18 Reasons Friday, September 21st 7-9pm, Ticketed Film Screening and Panel Discussion: Food Stamped, with Leo O'Farrell, director of San Francisco's Food Stamp Program. $10 for 18 Reasons members; $12 for the general public A few "pay what you can" tickets are available at the door. Space allowing, we will turn no one away for lack of funds.
Join us for our three-part documentary film screening and discussion series tackling big food issues from food stamp allotments to the growing obesity epidemic. Our first screening will be of Food Stamped, a film by two Bay Area directors who follow their attempt to live on the federal food stamp allotment.
Director of San Francisco's Food Stamp and CalFresh program, Leo O'Farrell, will join us for an open discussion following the film.
