Cal Scott and Richard Moore welcome San Francisco based singer-songwriter Steve Meckfessel www.stevemeckfessel.com, to their bi-monthly circle at OConnors Vault in Multnomah Village, Monday, December 12 at 7:00pm. This series is sponsored by Hearing Health of Raleigh Hills.
Steves music is his own blend of urban folk with bits of blues and jazz. Sometimes funny, other times moving, his songs tell stories that were waiting to be told. His first CD, Twice, was featured on the hit TV show JAG. His next release, Under Beautiful Skies received world-wide radio play and enthusiastic reviews. In the words of one critic, The folk world has just been handed some of the best music it will ever hear.
The Circle regulars with Steve will be Cal Scott and Richard Moore, who have fine-tuned their acoustic chops together and individually over the past forty-some years. They initially joined forces as a collegiate vocal trio with tv star-to-be Markie Post, then with a rock band in the seventies, and now are five years running with the Songwriter Circle.
