December 8th marks our season opening concert, and our first collaboration with the ground-breaking Little Opera Theatre of NY. Inspired by their upcoming February 2017 production of Carlisle Floyd's newest opera The Prince of Players, we present The Origin of Love. Floyd's opera tells the story of the last man to play women's roles on the London stage. So, of course, we have programmed a recital of Shakespearean gender-bending songs, and a collection of unexpected gems. Presented at the unparalleled home of Kevin Roon and Simon Yates.
