MSSPA PRESENTS: The Curious Savage
An old woman has been left ten million dollars by her late husband and she wants to make the best use of it. Meanwhile, her grown-up stepchildren are making every effort to get their hands on it. Knowing that the widows wealth is now in negotiable securities, and seeing they cannot get hold of the fortune, the stepchildren commit her to a sanatorium hoping to bring her to her senses. In the sanatorium she meets various social misfits, men and women who just cannot adjust themselves to life. The self- seeking stepchildren are driven to distraction by their vain efforts to pursue their stepmothers money, so with the help of her new friends in the sanatorium, the widow conspires to lead her stepchildren on a merry chase and get rid of them.
This endearing and heartfelt production will be performed by the Main Street School of Performing Arts Wednesday, November 16th through Friday, November 18th at 7 PM in the
Jaycee Studio at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.
