Witches, Saints, and Mothers: music by and about women - San Francisco Choral Artists
San Francisco Choral Artists presents the vibrant voices of women past and present in their poems, letters, laments, and proclamations. This program of music for a cappella chamber choir will consider womens roles through historysome chosen, some notand feature women composers of many eras, both legendary and newly emerging, including von Bingen, Casulana, Hensel, Oliveros, Chen Yi, Monk, Armer, Mankin, Parker, Imogen Holst, and the winners of the New Voices Project.
