Musica Barocca
During the 2016/17 season, the Lakes Area Music Festival will be Artists in Residence at the Woman's Club of Minneapolis, producing four classical concerts featuring members of the Minnesota Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and leading ensembles across the country. Each concert is open to the public and free of charge.
For the opening concert of the 2016/17 Winter Series, LAMF violinists and baroque specialists Chloe Fedor and Jeremy Rhizor have curated a program of Italian baroque music with an ensemble of highly-sought after colleagues from the international early music circuit. Enjoy an evening of early music, performed as it was originally intended on historical instruments!
Cash bar opens at 6:30 p.m., with music beginning at 7. As with other LAMF concerts, these performances will be offered free of charge in an effort to make classical music performances accessible to a wider audience.
