Come hear the evocative music of the World War II Era. These songs run the full emotional range from hopeful - to bitter sweet - to unabashed longing and loss. Ann Harter will provide the vocals with John Hyde on piano and accordion. Especially during the holiday seasons, these songs expressed all the complex emotions of a world at war. Ann and John celebrate the significance of these songs in the cultural legacy of America. Rob Bruns fine artistic representations of historical military and aviation machinery completes the setting for this wonderful night of reminiscence and respect for those who participated in the war effort at every level, not the least of which was the entertainment industry.
