The Shadow Chancellor, John McDonnell, is convening a series of public events to broaden the debate around economics in Britain.
Join us at the Royal York Hotel as John discusses 'The New Economics'. Hosted by York Central MP Rachael Maskell, including the authors of the Spirit Level, Kate Pickett and Richard Wilkinson; presented by York Labour Party and York Union.
Elected as MP for Hayes & Harlington in 1997, McDonnell was appointed Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer by Labour Leader, Jeremy Corbyn in 2015.
