Dames Who Read - Shadows in the Vineyard
In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the famed Paris Tasting - at which two California wines surprisingly won out over their French competitors and set the wine world into a tailspin we will be reading SHADOWS IN THE VINEYARD by Maximillian Potter. This historical novel is a who-done-it focused on the plot to poison the worlds greatest wine in a dastardly crime. Frank Bruni called it a nonfiction blending of several genres culinary, travel, history, and true crime by an enviably nimble writer.
Brush up on your Burgundy wine knowledge while you enjoy a guided tasting, along with cheese, bread and salad.
Street parking is available at meters on Sherman and adjoining streets or in a public parking lot nearby.
