BLUESTREAK presented by The Pearl Theater
Come on down to The Pearl Theater on Saturday, November 5 and enjoy a fabulous evening of live bluegrass music! The Pearl Theater is proud to bring you BlueStreak, afive member bluegrass band featuring traditional bluegrass acoustic instrumentation with vocal harmonies. BlueStreak represents a veteran crew from the Northwest bluegrass scene, with a unique sound anchored around the powerful vocals and guitar work of Doug Bond from Sandpoint, Idaho. Bob Asbury (banjo) has been playing bluegrass for over 35 years, including 25 years with Custers Grass Band. Dave Hackwith (acoustic bass) also played with Custers Grass Band, hails from Craigmont, Idaho and was a member of the popular Northwest band, Prairie Fire. Terry Ludiker (fiddle/mandolin/vocals) is a well known and respected acoustic musician and plays guitar, mandolin and fiddle equally well. Most recently Terry played and traveled for about ten years with the band Northern Cross. Steve Bauer completes the circle with his unique arsenal of crisp mandolin chops. Steve began his playing career around Fort Collins, Colorado, a hotbed of bluegrass in the seventies. Together the members of BlueStreak deliver the high lonesome sounds of traditional bluegrass harmony on a rock solid foundation of acoustic instrumentation. Tickets are $12 Advance/$15 Door/$8 Student available for purchase at Bonners Books & Mountain Mikes in Bonners Ferry and on-line through Brown Paper Tickets. The show begins at 7:00 pm; café/doors open at 6:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you at The Pearl Theater!
