Leah Jorgensen has been recognized by the San Francisco Chronicle & New York Times as One of the Premier New Winemakers in America. She will be featuring her Loire Valley (France) influenced wines right here at Bainbridge Islands own Museum of Art. These are powerfully rich wines with an elegant balance rarely experienced from New World winemakers. These very small production wines are normally exclusive to the premier restaurants in America, but we get to offer you this rare opportunity to discover what the premier sommeliers already know.
"I focus on site selection, first, working almost exclusively with vineyards in the Rogue and Applegate Valleys, save for a small lot of Gamay Noir coming from the up-and-coming region off of Perrydale Road near Salem in the Willamette Valley, and then I take a close look at what the vintage is giving me to determine how I will finesse each wine lot." Leah Jorgensen
We hope that you join us for this rare and special evening!
