Two fantastic string based bands that are making big waves in the roots music world. The Stash! Band features elements of Ralph Stanley's high lonesome sound with the riffs and energy of Black Sabbath and Megadeth. The Lonely Heartstring Band combine soulful instrumental virtuosity with soaring three-part harmonies, their growing repertoire of original songs and compositions showcases not only their considerable talents, but a dedication to meaningful roots-conscious music.

Lead by one of Bluegrass great young genre-bending pioneers, Stash Wyslouch (Molskys Mountain Drifters, The Deadly Gentlemen), The Stash! Band features elements of Ralph Stanley's high lonesome sound with the riffs and energy of Black Sabbath and Megadeth. Forged in the fire of the Boston and New York City music scenes- The Stash! Band features Wyslouch on guitar, Sean Trischka on Drums, Duncan Wickel on Fiddle and Noam Wiesenberg on Bass.
The recently released eponymous album, Stash! (Sep 2015) features 19 original songs with daring compositions, anthemic songwriting and a unique band sound defying genres and classification. The album delivers angular riffs, harmonies and melodies alongside the band's affable and natural vocal stylings.
The Stash! Band is a crystallized form of all the music I love fused into one dancing, laughing Frankenstein, says Wyslouch, Whos to say you cant fist-pump, headbang and croon 3-part harmony all in one song?

Nourished by deep roots in the expansive canon of traditional American music, The Lonely Heartstring Band embodies the modern American conditionan understanding and reverence for the past that informs a push into the future. This multi-talented group of musicians is a classic Bluegrass quintetalways far greater than the sum of its parts.

Since their beginnings in 2012, The Lonely Heartstring Band has been on the rise and shows no sign of slowing down.
