Join us for a Dance Month closing night celebration following the concert!
Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Derick K. Grant, and Jason Samuels Smith are three of the worlds most influential ambassadors of tap. They will be joined by drummer and arranger, Allison Miller, as they come together in excerpts of Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards And Still You Must Swing, a show that captures the heart and legacy of tap dance and honors the influence of jazz roots on this outstanding art form. Jason Samuels Smiths Going the Miles, takes a step further than simply tributing Mr. Miles Davis, one of the worlds greatest American jazz artists. Additional performance by Texas own leading tap dancer Tony Merriwether.
This is reserved seating! Please note, when choosing your seats that the black box on top of the chart is the stage.
