Ced Linus with Elana, TheFreeOnes, RxN
Pledge Empire Records and Sam Bond's Garage Present a night of regional and touring hip hop talent.
Ced Linus is a hip hop artist signed to independent record label Pledge Empire Records. Ced Linus has been on 4 major US Tours and headlined two overseas shows in the United Kingdom and Australia. To date he has recorded 4 albums which not only gained him notoriety with the city but throughout the state and beyond.
Throughout his career, Ced Linus has released the following four albums: The Dream Is Over in 2009, Wings Of The Morning in 2012, Kings, Heroes and Streets in 2013 and Christ Like in 2014- which was named one of the top albums of the year by Jon Jon at Reviler (http://www.reviler.org/2015/12/22/best-of-2015-local-albums/). Ced Linus latest album, Autumn Sessions, is a 6 song EP produced entirely by the artist himself.
Not only has Ced Linus performed at most of the top venues in Minnesota including, but not limited to First Ave, Fine Line, and Cabooze, he has also had four major tours taking him out of the state and across national borders. In 2014 he went on the We Already Signed Tour, the We Already Signed Tour 2, and The Greater Good Tour and in In 2015 Ced headlined The Code of Linus Tour. Throughout these tours he performed in several cities including New York, Denver, Portland, Seattle, Virginia Beach, Harrisburg, Madison, Duluth, Fargo, LaCrosse, and Brainerd to name a few. He has also showcased his musical genius overseas in Hackney, London. In 2015 he was asked to perform at SXSW in Texas with notable artists such as Chris Webby. Last November Ced Linus and Pledge Empire Records went to Wollongong Australia and tickets for Ceds performance at Rad Bar were quickly sold out. Soon afterwards, Pledge Empire Records premiered a documentary about their trip to the Land Down Under titled Pledge Empire Goes to Australia.
Pledge Empire Records has big plans for Ced Linus underway. The label will return Ced Linus to Australia this November for a three show tour and an exclusive listening party for Part 1 of his double disc album; Autumn Sessions. He will release Part 2, Summer Sessions, in the summer of 2017.
