With its all-woman cast, Sea Turtles tells the story of mothers, daughters and sisters, three generations within one family, shuttled by history between Tunis and Paris, in search of a home and of their identity. "Call your brothers by their French names. David, Salomon, those are your father's choices. We're in France now, we don't want to stand out. From now on, it's Clovis and Charlemagne." Sea Turtles challenges time and distance: Seven actresses interpret five characters at different ages in Tunis, Paris, a beach, a garret, an apartment, a train and a road, evoked simultaneously on a single stage - Paris 1942 talks to Paris 1968. Based upon a true, funny, and upbeat story of love given and love denied.
