Pretty in Pink film screening + Bananarara 80's disco
Pretty in Pink (dir John Hughes 1986) celebrates 30 years this year, and we are celebrating too with a special film screening of this teen classic, followed by an 80's disco featuring all of your favourite 80's pop tunes.
Join us upstairs at The Talbot pub on Saturday 12th November - you can dress up in pink, as Pretty in Pink characters Andie, Duckie or Iona (or Blane or the super slimey Steff), or just as yourselves. Prizes go to the best dressed!
Doors open at 7pm, film starts at 7.30 prompt. Come early for a good seat and bring your own cushion if you are all about comfort. The first 20 people to arrive get a limited edition badge!
After the film, 80's night Bananarara brings you the best (and the worst) of the 80's. Enjoy the tunes you tried to forget, along with the ones you never will. Depeche Mode, Spandau Ballet, Gloria Estefan, we'll have something for (almost) everyone.
