Sita & Friends - presented by Gualala Arts Local Eyes
Sita Milchev and her singing friends will present a cabaret-style show to Gualala Arts Center on Saturday, October 27 at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinée October 28 at 2 p.m.
Sita will be joined by her "Friends," a group of some of the most talented voices and performers on the Mendonoma Coast; Tony Ariola, aka "Teo," Haidi Calkins, Cassy Grossman, Laura Leigh, Sam Parsons and Gloria Wood.
Milchev last seen as Mrs. Paroo in Art Center Theater's production of The Music Man, has been performing locally and internationally for the past 45 years. Our accompanist, Gloria Wood, the incredible voice teacher, director and accompanist of Leigh's solo show last year, and, who incidentally performed the part of Mrs. Paroo in the Mountain Play's (Marin County) rendition of The Music Man this summer and singing buddy of Sita's, will be at the grand piano and keyboard.
Milchev has collected songs written by some of the most prolific song writers and lyricists ever to grace the Broadway stage. Some will be familiar and some you may never have heard before, sung in solo, duet and group numbers.
The cost is a mere $20 per ticket, $5 more the day of the show if there happen to be any seats available. To purchase in person, visit the Gualala Arts Center or Dolphin Gallery in Gualala. This show is not intended for children.
