Southland Ensemble presents KAGEL: REPERTOIRE
I discovered more and more how much you can minimize the number of props in the theatera chair, but such a strong situation. If the drama is credible, you get to what is absolutely necessary without risking emptiness. - Mauricio Kagel Southland Ensemble presents selections from Repertoire (1967-70), a collection of event scores by German-Argentine composer Mauricio Kagel. One of his most radical, anti-institutional works, Repertoire is a farcical deconstruction of object, sound, theatre and music all at once.
***update for concert parking and bike path: the venue itself does not offer parking, but there is plenty of street parking close by. There is a lot more parking on Dorris place, which is one street north of Glover. For the bike path, this stretch of path starts around Riverside and Figueroa. By the new bright near Home Depot***
