This seminar will increase the attendees' level of sophistication concerning the collection of fees for architectural services, and will focus on non-litigation approaches to getting paid, and on client management as a mindset for avoiding runaway account receivables and collection lawsuits.

Michael Murtaugh received his undergraduate degree from University of Cincinnati (BA, with honors, 1970) and his law degree from University of California at Los Angeles School of Law (JD, 1973). His practice focuses on counseling and representing design professionals, employment counseling and litigation and general civil litigation. He has received Martindale Hubbell's highest "av" rating for ethics and competence.
Michelle R. Generaux received her undergraduate degree from University of Notre Dame (BA, 1993) and law degree from William Mitchell College of Law (JD, 1996), and her focus is on the representation of privately held businesses, with an emphasis on architectural and engineering firms.
