Starring Marcus Mosely!
Join members of the Marcus Mosely Chorale, Ann Mortifee, Dee Daniels, Canadian Tenors Member - Clifton Murrey, Candace Churchill, Sojourners Member - Will Sanders and representatives from BC's Entertainment Hall of Fame to celebrate Marcus induction and StarWalk Star.
The BC Entertainment Hall of Fame has recognized over 275 artists and 13 Pioneer Stars for their significant contribution to the provinces entertainment industry and cultural landscape.
Marcus has sung throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, the South Pacific and Australia. From Ralls, Texas, Marcus grew up immersed in the music and culture of the Gospel tradition. He made Vancouver his home in 1985 and became a Canadian Citizen in 2008. Since then he has starred in the stage productions Ain't Misbehavin', Black and Gold Revue (Arts Club) and Show Boat (Livent). He also created and directed It's Time to Sing (Arts Club), a chronicle of African-American Gospel music from slavery to present time.
In the studio he has worked with Jim Byrnes, Colin James and appeared in the movie Twist of Faith and in the Holiday Heart, as the singing voice of Ving Rhames. His was the singing voice of Fluttershy in an episode of the series My Little Pony. He is also a member of the award winning roots Gospel trio, The Sojourners (2014 WCMA Best Spiritual Album of the Year) who have opened for Gospel legends The Dixie Hummingbirds, The Five Blind Boys of Alabama, Dr. John & David Sanborn.
In 2014, The Sojourners opened for Bobby McFerrin at the Vancouver Jazz Festival. Marcus has led Gospel music workshops across Canada and in 2011 he founded the Marcus Mosely Chorale.
