Conference: Histories of Data and the Database, Nov. 18-19
Nov. 18-19 (Fri.-Sat.) In the age of internet searches and social media, data has become hot and not for the first time. An international group of historians will consider the promises, fears, practices, and technologies for recording and transmitting data in the 18th century to the present, including the implications for the lives of citizens and subjects.
Registration for this 2-day conference is $25, with an optional buffet lunch each day for $20. If a vegetarian lunch is preferred, please add "VEG" after your last name in the name field when registering. (ex: Smith - VEG)
Conference registration is $10 for current Huntington docents, and free for current Long-Term Fellows and students with a current Student I.D. Please bring your current I.D. to event day check-in. Students, please note school affiliation after your name when registering.
