About our Speakers:
Aaron Hendelman is a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he heads the trademarks, copyrights, and advertising practice in the firms Seattle office. He focuses on the areas of trademark, advertising, unfair competition, copyright, Internet, retail, and consumer law. Aaron regularly represents public and private companies in complex transactions involving intellectual property rights and advertising matters. He earned a bachelors degree in political science from at Stanford University, a master of philosophy degree from Cambridge University, and a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
Mark S. Warnick is a senior corporate counsel at Amazon.com, Inc., where he has worked as a trademark lawyer since 2011. He previously worked as a trademark lawyer at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, which he joined in 2002 after graduating from the University of Chicago Law School. Prior to law school, Mark worked as a news reporter for several daily newspapers, including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Chicago Tribune, and the Los Angeles Herald Examiner. He also has a bachelors degree in history from the University of Washington and a masters degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Mark serves on the board of Washington Lawyers for the Arts.
