Despite having no money, no political organization and taking on the entire Democratic Party, by the close of his campaign, Sanders had defied the odds, receiving more than 13 million votes in primaries and caucuses throughout the country and winning twenty-two states. But Sanders' biggest accomplishment was providing a new hope for the people of our nation, proving they are ready to take on the greed of corporate America and the one 1 percent.
