An Evening with Bernie Sanders
At the beginning of Bernie Sanders' race for the presidency, the political establishment and the media didn't consider him a figure to be taken seriously. Despite having no money, no political organization and taking on the entire Democratic Party, by the close of his campaign, Sanders had defied the odds, receiving more than 13 million votes in primaries and caucuses throughout the country and winning twenty-two states. But Sanders' biggest accomplishment was providing a new hope for the people of our nation, proving they are ready to take on the greed of corporate America and the one 1 percent. In Our Revolution, Sanders shares his personal experiences from the campaign trail, recounting the details of his historic primary fight and the people who made it possible.
