About us Li'l Buds Theatre was founded in 2005 by company members Jenny Lamb, Maggie Portman and J. Preddie Predmore. Since then our company has been dedicated to enriching the lives of children of all backgrounds through theatre and the performing arts. Each year we produce two main stage shows for families including our extremely popular original holiday musical series in the winter and a play in the spring. All productions show Li'l Buds tradition of using youth actors as well as professional adult actors. Li'l Buds also holds classes, workshops, camps and residencies at many schools and theaters including Frances Xavier Warde, Catherine Cook, Polaris, Drummond Elementary, Jewish Day School, Sacred Heart, West Belden, Greenhouse Theatre Center and The Artistic Home. Our ensemble of artists have worked with such companies as Broadway in Chicago, Drury Lane, Porchlight, Blindfaith, Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre, Lifeline, Dog and Pony, A Red Orchid, Pegasus, Black Ensemble, Theatre Building, Congo Square and ATC.
Our Mission Li'l Buds Theatre Company's mission is to educate and enrich children of all ages and backgrounds in the Theatre and Performing Arts, through original and mainstream productions and educational classes, workshops, and residencies.
