The Way of Tea, Sunday, Oct. 7, 12 p.m.
Learn about the traditions of the Japanese "Way of Tea" and participate in an authentic tea ceremony in this unique cultural experience. Small groups will embark on a 90-minute tour starting in the Chinese Garden with a discussion of the origins of tea, continuing in the Japanese Garden with stops at the Japanese House and the new ceremonial teahouse, and culminating with a tea ceremony in the Zen Garden. $10 per person. Tour start times are approximate; tours will depart as groups form. General admission is a separate required cost, paid on entering the grounds.
