Join the Everett Philharmonic on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 7 PM for the exciting conclusion to our third concert season. Listening to our listeners' requests, we are delighted to present a program specially selected by our audience.
We are honored to bring Dr. Richard Nance and the combined choirs of the Pacific Lutheran University to our stage. Winner of the 2011 American Prize for outstanding recording by a community chorus, PLU Choral Union will be joined by the nationally touring a capella Choir of the West to form a choir of more than 100 voices.
First on the program will be the beautiful MASS IN C MAJOR, Op 86 by Ludwig van Beethoven which will be conducted by Dr. Richard Nance.
The awesome conclusion to this concert will be the performance of Beethoven's SYMPHONY NO 9 IN D MINOR conducted by Dr. Paul-Elliott Cobbs.
This collaboration of 80+ members of the Everett Philharmonic and the more than 100 voices of the PLU combined choirs will indeed fill your hearts and minds with some of the most beautiful music ever written.
This is a unique opportunity that you won't want to miss!
